An Endowment to Support the Arts and Culture at Colorado State University
The Lilla B. Morgan Memorial fund is an endowment to enrich the artistic and cultural life of Colorado State University. The fund is one of the premier supporters of arts programs and events at CSU, awarding grants to fund performances, exhibits, guest lectures, master classes, film series, and more. The fund was established by the friends and family of the late Lilla B. Morgan, wife of CSU's late President Emeritus William Morgan. Literature, dance, and classical music surrounded Lilla B. Morgan at an early age, developing in her a deep appreciation for the arts that she brought with her to Fort Collins when her husband was named the eighth president of Colorado A&M (now CSU) in 1949. She championed the fine arts, symphonies, and theater performances in Northern Colorado. That legacy continues on through the fund established in her honor.
