Be a part of the
movement that builds relationships, affirms humanity, and celebrates
inclusivity at Colorado State University by supporting the ACT Human Rights Film Festival. The ACT Human Rights Film Festival, produced by CSU's Department of Communication Studies in the College of Liberal
Arts, seeks to awaken, connect, and transform individuals and communities by
bringing socially relevant human rights documentary and narrative fiction films
from around the world to Fort Collins. The annual festival occurs each spring, and ACT Year-Round brings films to the community all year. Most screenings include a Q&A
session with filmmakers, subjects, and special guests. ACT's Call to ACT program pairs films with local or regional nonprofit or nongovernmental organizations that are working on important human rights and social justice issues in our community.
No other event in Fort Collins or the Northern Colorado region unites
campus and community audiences to witness and discuss social justice issues,
asks us to think critically about what it means to be human, and motivates
individuals to help transform communities. Take ACTion and support the ACT
Human Rights Film Festival.
