Behnke was one of the world’s leading luminaries in trout conservation, inspiring generations of students, fishery biologists, and anglers alike, with unparalleled contributions to coldwater conservation science.  Your gift is needed to enhance this legacy of sustaining coldwater populations and their habitats for future generations. The Coldwater Conservation program will establish a robust research, education, and outreach initiative, with the aspiration to create an endowed chair to attract a national leader in coldwater conservation, teaching the next generation of fishery professionals.
