"You can't legislate good will - that comes through education." - Malcolm X
Bruce Hall, School of Social Work professor, retired in 2008 after a successful 35-year career. Through his Legacies Project giving page, Hall challenges colleagues, friends, and former students to play a role in improving the participation of underrepresented populations in the social work profession. Bruce is passionate about aligning the Master of Social Work program's enrollment more closely to that of the state's demographic composition. This effort will mean more social workers who identify with the populations they are serving. The School of Social Work at Colorado State University is poised and ready to meet this challenge. Gifts made to the School of Social Work will be used to honor Hall's desire to increase recruitment and retention efforts to diversify our student population.
