When natural disasters strike, members of the global community at Colorado State University are often affected. From the Northern Colorado High Park Fire in 2012 and Colorado floods in 2013, from the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2017 to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and, now, the devastating fires in Boulder County, nature can wreak havoc on the lives of our employees and retirees.
