Transform Our Kitchen Campaign

Do you remember the teaching kitchen on the second floor of the Gifford Building? Perhaps you learned a new recipe in it or how to apply a food safety concept to a real-world cooking issue or were treated to the culinary magic of Chef Miller? The kitchen laboratory space currently holds classes 4-5 days per week, 6-8 hours per day, providing food preparation, food safety, and culinary education to more than 500 students per year. After so many food experiments and cooking classes, our Gifford Kitchen was ready for new equipment and modern updates. The photo above shows our beautiful new space, which was completed Fall 2015. We need the support of students, faculty, alumni, and staff who have enjoyed the space all these years to continue to support this vital space. Your support will help students access advanced, up-to-date equipment, improve their educational experience, and make them more competitive in today's job market. 
Donors who give at the following levels will be acknowledged on a plaque in the new Gifford Kitchen.

  • Sous Chef $100-249
  • Chef de Cuisine $250-499
  • Executive Chef $500-1869
  • Master Chef $1870 +
