Tuesday, January 19, 2021
5:30p.m. - 6:30p.m. MT
Virtual Presentation on Zoom!

Accurate nutrition information is a result of significant scientific evidence, but with copious amounts of nutrition reports from all types of sources, how do you know what is accurate and what isn’t?  Learn how to be an informed consumer and aware of reputable versus fraudulent nutrition information and claims. This webinar will help you sift through various nutrition information and make great nutrition choices for your New Year’s goals.

Meet your CSU Golden Plains Area Extension Agent:

Joy serves as a Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent in Yuma County.  Much of her work pertains to nutrition, health and food safety education for youth and adults.  She and her husband have two college-aged daughters attending CSU (Go Rams!!) so she is adjusting to being an empty nester.  Some of Joy’s favorite pastimes are spending time outdoors and with her animals and exploring new and different foods.
