The Feller family has supported education and the community for decades: Rich through his involvement as a professor in the School of Education; Barb as a respected physical therapist and community volunteer; and Chris as a student leader at Colorado State University. Designated as a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar in 2005 and recipient of multiple teaching awards at Colorado State University, Rich served as director of the Student Affairs in Higher Education program from 1983-90. As president of the National Career Development Association in 2012-13, he received NCDA's Eminent Career Award, and the Colorado Career Development Association established the Rich Feller Leadership Award in his name. Rich retired in 2013 after devoting 33 years to teaching in the field of career counseling.
The Rich, Barb, and Chris Feller Leadership fund will support students in the School of Education with professional development, training, and participation in conferences and events. It is the hope of the Feller family that this fund will encourage students to reach their full potential.
