At the James L. Voss
Veterinary Teaching Hospital, each patient is treated by a team of dedicated
clinicians, residents, interns, technicians, and students earning their
Doctorates of Veterinary Medicine. These doctors-in-training work tirelessly to
improve patients' lives and prepare themselves for a lifetime of work devoted to
the health of animals and our planet. We invite you to support these students
as a token of gratitude for the passion they pour into their education and to
help them on their journeys to become professional veterinarians.
The Future
Caregivers endowment provides financial assistance to veterinary students whose
animals are treated at the hospital. Students face a heavy debt burden and may
not be able to afford lifesaving care when their own pets are in need.
The
Caring Assistance Relief Effort fund came into being as a response to stories
of veterinary students needing food, shelter, and resources while working and
studying to complete their degrees. Gifts to the CARE fund will help students
meet unforeseen financial challenges, including support needs such as food,
housing, heating, medical costs, emotional well-being, and travel.
The CVMBS
Student Scholarship endowment provides support for students in all areas of the
college. This scholarship supports students with the potential to change the
world in ways that affect our lives and the lives of our cherished pets, and
aids in the college's goal of helping animals, people, and the planet.
