Dr. Gay Israel

Dr. Gay Israel, who was head of the Department of Health and Exercise Science for 18 years, was a transformational leader, building the department into a model that is respected nationally for outstanding research, teaching, and service. The Richard Gay Health and Exercise Science Scholarship was established in Dr. Israel's honor before his death in April, 2016, and will ensure his legacy at CSU continues for generations to come.
