Janet Fritz taught in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies for 35 years - from 1969 to 2004. Scholarships supported her education as a freshman at the University of Colorado through her doctorate at Cornell University. After working as a child psychologist at Johns Hopkins and Massachusetts General Hospital she began her career as a university professor. She was active in faculty governance at CSU, in programs supporting women faculty and students, and as coordinator of the Child Life program. Her research interests and teaching of undergraduate and graduate students gave her great joy.
